Casey's RV Park - West Fir, Oregon
After a few personal issues that needed to be dealt with we hit the road again.   It was great to be back in the RV camping mode.    Our goal was to meet up with the Pacific Northwest Lazy Daze group.   We have three to four camp outs a year.    This one was at caseysrvpark.com.   <smile> Drive wasn't very scenic  as it was a major highway till we got to Eugene.   Here we turned east to cross the southern part of the cascades.  Here is used Willamette Pass.   The campground is just this side of West Fir.   West Fir used to be a company town - owned by the Western Fir timber company.  When they pulled out this sold all the company houses to the workers living in them.

Nice video, and nice campground! Good to see at least one classic 80's LD there but who let that darn class A in?  ;)

The video is the one my husband Charlie took seven years ago at our NW LD outing at Casey’s. I don’t recognize most of those rigs from our outing just a few days ago. No 80’s era rigs there this past week. I think a 1999 era rig was the oldest. We had 22 rigs, great weather and it was nice to hear the sound of the Willamette river flowing past!
