Money Saving Walmart App
I discovered the following Walmart app that is designed to automatically price compare Walmart purchases and then credit the User's account with the difference.    The phone app uses the camera to scan the Walmart receipt and uploads the data directly into the User's account.  This YouTube video  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdr54Qs6Ang provides an excellent overview of the Walmart Price Catcher App and explains in some detail how to use the Walmart app and provides information how to redeem your price comparison money.  I couldn't possibly explain how this App works as well as this video.

Your Savings Dashboard – Walmart's Savings Catcher website is the Walmart Dashboard for Price Catcher that does the about the same thing as the Walmart app available from Apple Store or Google Play  at Walmart Mobile App - Walmart.com .  The on-line Dashboard requires the User to manually enter some of the data while the phone apps does everything for the User.

I've just started to use the phone app and so we don't have a lot of feedback for the LDO Forum.   However, when Margee and I are on the road, we most often visit Walmart for our shopping as do so many others.  This App is saving us a bit of money.

If this post is off-topic, let's delete it straight away.  At any rate, I certainly hope this information is helpful to those who didn't know about this Walmart Price Comparison App.

We've used this for a few years now. We added our credit card and pay at the register with the Walmart Pay portion of the app.

One advantage is you have access to every receipt in your history which comes in handy in when you need to return something. We can view every receipt dating back to when we signed up in Jan. 2015. We've gotten approx $95 back since then and it is about as painless as you can imagine. When you use Walmart Pay to make your payment the credits are automatically used as payment.
