Lizard Head Pass.
Not tow country.
We detached.

Right, too high to tow. But, your tow should be up in the mountain passes. You do have a Jeep, don't you? Well, maybe not, likely the passes have not been plowed yet. Return in August.

Oh, that will not work in the high 4X4 trails. Subarus will not cut it either.
The good news is that just about every type of off-road vehicle is available for rent.
Beware, the trails are full of novices who really don't know what they are doing or the rules of off-road etiquette .
It sure is some beautiful county, I'm ready to go back.

I unfortunately get vertigo easily at heights so I'll stay way from the high ridges.
I wish I didn't. It looks beautiful from the pictures.
