What are these?
They are behind the driver seat. Cannot find info in any of my documentation. Thanks

In the first photo, the thing on the right, with five wires, is the ignition control module.

I don't know what the blue box, with three wires, is.

The second photo doesn't show much, it looks like it has is a removable plastic cover with a partial word 'uter' visible.
My guess is the engine's computer (ECM) may be inside. Grab a screwdriver and find out.

Yup, it's the engine computer. Some old Chevy van chassis had the ECM mounted behind the driver's seat, with a fat bundle with a zillion wires leading forward to the engine compartment. Why would they do this? I'm guessing it was because the engine compartment is a VERY hostile environment for electronics, with heat, vibration, and most of all ignition noise, and they had not yet learned how to "harden" the ECM against all that.

You can tell it's a computer from the 80s just from the typeface. Regardless of what the letters actually spell...  :)
