Nice to See
Today, while doing some heavy cleaning inside "Wild Thing," The Captain peeled back the fully-deployed cabover queen to do some dusting-cleaning deep in the nosecone....we were both delighted to see that the entire area was as dry as a bone, with no signs of water intrusion ever!   No mildew, just dust.

It's been a long time since we exerted this much effort there as we don't sleep up there (one visitor once for one night) and use it for bedroll and blanket storage.   When in place for a while (like Florida for 6 months), the bed is a very generous shelf for the accumulated whatnot, which eventually has to be sorted out, gifted and otherwise deployed before getting underway.

I will say that this is a 2-adult project which is helped by the use of a 3-step step stool or the LD ladder if you've got it handy.  One sort of surfs over the rolled back mattress with legs dangling in order to reach deep into the nosecone.
