Rare sighting today
Saw a green LD in the Safeway parking lot in Wheatland Wyoming. Alaska plates, wondering if a forum member?

Must have been a rough trip down.

Mr. Pokeparson, do you have an LD? If so, what year and model.

Even with the limited view, this LD looks trashed in *many* places; in addition to the missing aluminum (and obvious water damage to the wood sheathing), it’s minus at least one running light, the front tire that’s visible is in bad shape, the fender is torn off, and other chunks are missing. Who knows what the other side looks like, but this rig is in the most pitiful condition of any I’ve seen, and I’ve seen some beater LDs. 😢

Wonder what they sideswiped ?
It was tall, up to the middle of the windows
Some of the damage is hard to make out due to the photo's low resolution.
Imagine how sick they must have felt after the collision.
It's fixable.

Appears to be a midBath. I don't see the drain for the black tank. The battery compartment door would be gone, so you should be able to see the batteries. I hear Alaska has a lot of wild life on the roads....

Thanks! As you can now see, I try to add the year and model of everyone's Lazy Daze to their profiles so readers can quickly see what everyone is driving. This makes it easier to respond to questions and comments about folks' Lazy Dazes without having to ask "what is your year and model?".

Well, it does get pretty windy in Wyoming . . . .

It would be interesting to hear "the rest of the story" on this one.

Good day!

Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the other side. It was in great condition.

Of course it’s also missing the water fill connection, shore power connection and city water connection.  So this unfortunate LD is now a true dry camper rig. The repair could exceed this LD’s value based on insurance company’s valuations. That’s sad given the other side was reported to be in great condition suggesting it was a well maintained LD.
