Hidden Charging Station
Hello all,

I’m my recent trip to Oregon I had a personal complaint about how our 2004 30’ IB is lacking places to plug in with the increasing need to carry and charge, Phones, i-Pads, Tablets, Kindles, other Book Readers, etc.

Sure you can plug in to outlets under dinette but I like to read in bed and plugging into the outlet at the foot of the bed causes you to use a 10’ or longer charging cable. If you place your book down on ledge when ready to sleep you’ve got to remember your plugged in a crossed the room when you get up in middle of night. Forgetting this causes the charging item to go flying and you can get tangled up in cable. None of this is fun in the dark at 3am. (Yes it happened to me)

I discuss this with Dad and he came up with a charging station for me and you’d never know it’s there. He mounted inside the closet just beyond the opening. Now I just need to reach inside to plug. It’s Fantastic!! Thanks Lazy Bones 😁

Cynthia,

This is why Dads rock. I know. I had one. Wait a minute. I am one. Sweet job. Now if you can just get him to do Julienne Fries, you’ve got it made.

Clearly, we are going to have to make a trip to his house again.

Sorry Kent...

The one thing you will not find on my resume is 'cook' or any variation thereof!

When you didn't show up at the house I had to drive it all the way to Morro Bay so you could get a peek! But that was just the first of two... as of today there is a second one in the r/h closet which is a twin of the first. Now Lazy Bones 2 can charge her devices in stereo!   ;)   8)
