The twin beds in the back were perfect for them while I had my own space up front. There's also those beautiful windows. If you can back in at a lake or river there's nothing like sitting there in the back and looking out the windows. But now I travel mostly by myself, so I don't need separate spaces. I also camp with groups of other RVers and I wanted more open space for guests. We'll see if I made the right choice! The kitchen in the Mid-Bath has got more counter space so I know I'm going to miss that as well as those wonderful windows. 1 Likes

I cook, so I prefer more horizontal area to put stuff! The RB has a larger bath area than the MB, but I'm used to the bath in the TK, so anything bigger than that seems downright opulent to me! I cook about 99.5% of all of our meals inside (no BBQ outside) of our current RB. I did the same with our TK. I can't say that one was better than the other, but am having no difficulty with the limited counter space in the current RB. I have two 12 x 18" tempered glass, heat resistant, "cutting boards" that I deploy as needed.I cook regulation, full meals (meat, veg, starch) from scratch, with the attendant mess that this creates, and find it is not difficult to manage. Leftover components are a bonus, as about 75% of all lunches and dinners start with at least one already-prepared segment from a previous effort.Breakfasts are hot, cooked five-grain cereal with home made yogurt and usually several different fruits, and sesame and sunflower seed toppings. Sundays are splurge brunch days, and I go all out with polenta, bacon/sausage, French Toast/Pancakes/Waffles and poached eggs, just like our Sundays at home.I'm hoping to attach a photo. If it comes through, you will be able to see a bit of the chopping block at the right side of the photo, draped across the stove top. Re: Changing from MB Reply #11 – April 11, 2018, 02:52:38 pm My wife is an avid cook and we've never found the kitchen space in the RB a problem.The usual configuration when she's working there is to flip up the little counter extender to the left of the sink and place a sturdy wood cutting board (purchased at LD) on the left of the two sinks. That, combined with the dinette table, which is quite convenient to the kitchen counter (just turn around) makes for ample prep space. As things progress and work gets done it is at some point quite feasible to clear and set the table for dining.Clean up works well too. Pile the dishes in the left sink and on the flip up counter. Wash in the left sink, rinse in the right. Place the wet dishes on a towel on the stove cover, with excess if any on the dinette table.Works for us. 2 Likes

I have done the cooking in both over the past 24 years and have had no trouble in either of them. I, too, have a very sturdy wooden sink cover/cutting board over the left sink over which I place a more "scrub-able" cutting board. As items are prepped, they are put on the dinette table. I've done everything from stir-fry to spaghetti to chili to. .. well, whatever's on the menu. Given a challenge, a cook will usually figure it out. It's really a matter of having those tools that you really need on board. Mechanical. . . and cooking!Juli W
