Is this a lazy daze camper?
Hello,
I bought a 1968 Chevy camper van and am trying to figure out if the camper is a lazy daze.  I know they built one specifically for a dodge van and was thinking someone put one on a Chevy van?

Please see attached photos.

Thanks for any information you can provide,

Dwight

Interesting looking but it isn't a Lazy Daze.
It has none of LD's signature design elements.
Sorry.

According to the "Changes Through the Years" doc, Lazy Daze built 1968s on Dodge chassis; no Chevys.

Really nice sink, though!  ;)

Thanks every one.  If you have any ideas of where I might found out who manufactured the camper let me know.  Thanks.

And, assuming the windows are original, I don't believe Lazy Daze ever used jalousie-type windows.  Someone please correct me if wrong.

That is way cute.  If they made them now I would buy in a heart beat.  Think of the maneuverability and sleeping areas in just 15 and half ft. van.

I don't know about the Lazy Daze 15-footer but in the one that the OP posted photos of, it appears your giving up a bathroom to get that length. For me, that would be a deal breaker!  ;)

Edit: after a closer gander, I see a door behind the driver seat which may be the bathroom.

There is a bathroom behind the driver's seat in mine for like a porta potty.

DwightHyde, the biggest question I have is,  "Does this rig work for you and are you happy with it?"
Maybe we'll see you down the road.  Stop off and say hello.
Safe travels.
