kitchen vent broken
Hello,  I have a 2006, 26.5' rear kitchen.  The non-powered vent in the kitchen blew up on the freeeway on my last trip.  I've replaced vents and fans before but thought I would check with the forum if a standard 14-1/4  x 14-1/4 vent such as this one

Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent - Manual - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" - White...

would fit?  Thanks in advance.

Thanks Steve,  That one does look sturdier.

I also recommend you read posts, including the archives, about vent removal and installation. The old vent will come out a mangled mess - c'est la vie. - but careful removal of the LD-applied sealant will keep the roof intact and allow a good re-seal.

A oscilating tool, with a sharp chisel blade, will make the removal job a lot easier.

Heat up the lap sealant with a heat gun and it will come off even easier.
