Kitchen Faucet Model N39022 (2009 MB) - Blockage
Earlier this month, we spent time preparing our 2009 LD for Spring trips after a few months of winter storage.  I quickly discovered that the kitchen faucet was plugged with no water flow for either hot or cold.  I followed all the usually steps to problem-solve the issue and nothing worked.

Our kitchen faucet has an owner's brochure, but it doesn't identify a brand.  The model number is N39022.  My best guess it's a Delta because all the parts in a repair kit from Home Depot matched this faucet.  This particular faucet uses a ball valve and rubber seats to control the flow.  So my first step to clear the blockage was to pour a mixture of lime-away and vinegar into the ball valve housing.  After an hour of soaking, I had a wee bit of water flow so I did a second treatment, which didn't help.

As I sat at the dinette table talking to our kitchen faucet, I remembered something that happened last fall when using compressed air to winterized.  I started the compressed air process with the kitchen faucet and I notice that after a bit, I wasn't getting any air out of the faucet.  While I thought that was strange, I continued to winterize the LD and forgot about the kitchen faucet.

So with very little to lose, I gave each opening in the ball valve housing a ½ second or less of compressed air at 40 psi.  I put everything back together and we had full water flow for both hot and cold.  The stuff I poured into the ball valve housing must have softened the blockage and the compressed air dislodged it.

After additional research, I learned that the spray hose has a check valve in the housing just below the connection to the faucet fittings.  That check valve can easily accumulate debris of all sorts and block water flow.  To get to the check valve, it's necessary to remove a set screw in the hose fitting and then pull the hose loose.  There are two (2) o-rings inside the hose connector which requires a strong pull.  At this point, you should be able to see the check valve.  All of this last information came from customer service at 888-328-2383.  IN ADDTION, the faucet model N39022 has a new model number for the same faucet which is FP124000.  Finally, this faucet has a life-time warranty on all parts if the parts are available.

I hope this information is helpful.

We have the exact same kitchen faucet in our 2011 midbath; same model number. Have no idea who the manufacturer is. We'd had extremely low water pressure from that faucet for a long time. Finally a few weeks ago we called the 888 customer service number and found out there was a lifetime warranty on the faucet. So we ordered a new end piece (part #18, 19,20). $7.95 for shipping and it arrived in four days. Fixed our low pressure problem instantly!!  Should have done that much sooner! Saved us hundreds of dollars as we'd thought about having a whole new faucet installed.
