Leak March 12, 2018, 09:16:13 pm Hi LD’s , Today we drove out to Waves,NC on our way back to NY. Plan to spend about a week here , don’t want to get back to early. Driving on 64 east the rain and wind were howling . I noted water, rain drips from top of windshield above steering wheel. Does this happen when wind driven is really hard? It stopped when the wind decreased. We have a 27 MB, 2017. Thanks

LD removes the windshield as part of their construction. Sometimes they don’t seal it well when they reinstall it.Call Todd. Tell him what’s going on. He will give you authorization to go to a nearby auto glass shop and have the windshield properly installed. As I recall, I had to get the job priced then Todd would authorize the reimbursement. You pay then get reimbursed. The glass shop told me in writing, that *sometimes*, in the process of removing the windshield it breaks. Removing the windshield from a Class C is a challenge. The break is your cost and not theirs. Be sure Todd buys into that. I could hear him wince when I told him that’s the way it was going to be. 😩The windshield did not break.👍Ed 1 Likes

Re: Leak Reply #3 – March 16, 2018, 01:02:14 pm Until can have the windshield removed and resealed, try using a thin, flowable silicone windshield sealant, applied around the perimeter of the glass. It's made for this purpose.Permatex Tube flowable silicone windshield and glass sealer 81730-1 - Read...Larry 3 Likes
