I adopted it as a matter of course, along with any number of other terms such as 'Head', Brogans, Irish Pennants, etc.... the evolution to flip-flops and thongs came way later. Re: Ladder feet Reply #27 – February 07, 2018, 04:16:30 pm So just to wrap up on my original posting topic, here's the solution I bashed together for interior bunk ladder feet. Constraints required rubber contact for wood (ish) floor, non-marring, non-slip and sturdy characteristics. Works well.A few pics of a solution that works for me:Materials: Hockey puck (blue, of course, to match the rig) and a few self-drill self-tap sheet metal screws.Tools: bandsaw, drill, file, screw gun.Cost: About $5. 1 Likes
Re: Ladder feet Reply #28 – February 07, 2018, 06:48:27 pm I too grew up with the term Zoris, aka zorries, stories and the like. I got my first set in Okinawa in the mid 50s. Never really got use to flip flops. 1 Likes
Re: Ladder Feet - Paint Matching - Zorries Reply #29 – February 08, 2018, 11:07:54 am it's been on my list to inquire the dimensions of the bigger plug version in this set... if it's close to the rectangular size, they should be able to jam in there, secured with something....werner feet 1 Likes
