Spent first day of 2018 being lazy. 😜 we went out for donuts today paired with hot coco. Back in LD we watched a DVD and took a nap before getting ready to go out to dinner. Decided to go back to kaleidoscopes for pizza. Now we are back in camp listening to an audio book.

Today we were up early. Had breakfast out at a place called Riffel Cafe in Merlin Or. Then spent 1-1/2hrs at the Wildlife Images. This is a rehabilitation center for injury animals. The goal is to fix them up and release then back into the wild. However over the years some animals could not be re-released and have found a home on this property. The tour was very nice.
After we ran a few last minute errands. Lunch was downtown while enjoying old fashion sodas from the soda fountain in the old pharmacy. Quick trip to return rental car and a nice ride back to LD tells you we are about to leave Oregon. 😢🚐

Well folks we had a blast up in Southern Oregon this passed week. This morning we broke camp and headed to California. Just out side of Red Bluff as we were headed south we saw a teal/green LD headed north on I-5. We waved but at 60 mph who knows if they saw us. We are now in camped at the Rolling Hills Casino. After showering we will hit the buffet for dinner.
Rain it predicted tonight and in the am. We will set out from here in the morning to drop off the RV back to Lazy Bones and gather out things before the final trip to our home ending this solo Journey.

😢 Struck out in the casino tonight. Looks as if we will be traveling home tomorrow so we can go to work On Monday. 😉

Made it home safely today. Dropped the RV back home with Lazy Bones and promised to come back and clean it up before his next trip. 😊🚐

We had a excellent trip up and back.But now I have a few more rolling around in my head. i’ll Just have to schedule 🗓 trips between work and when dads not using the LD himself.
