You choices are very limited unless you reconfigure the opening to accept the newer models. This usually isn't a practical solution.
Very few Dometics today are 3-way, you probably will have to give-up the 12-volt operation unless you rewire it to use an inverter, while on the road.
This is another of the issues one runs into owning an elderly RV.
As mentioned before, installing a rebuilt cooling unit in such an old body isn't a good idea unless, for some unknown reason, the plastics have not become brittle, with age.
Every older Dometic I have ever looked at sufferers from this condition.

I called Lazy Daze to confirm and they said yes, the RM2620R is indeed a direct fit.
I then called Dometic and sadly they stopped making these last June.
I did find one for about $1900 new online...OUCH.

In addition...I just found out that I would have to order doors separately at $265 and $190. Double OUCH.

Your refrigerator is both shorter and narrower than the recent models.
There may be enough room in the cabinet to reconfigure it, making the opening taller and wider, so a newer model can be installed .
I was able to do this in our 1983 22' FL, when it's refrigerator died and a proper size replacement was not available.

The cost is prohibitive anyway for a 2620 since they are discontinued.

I'll nurse mine along.
I turned it on last night on AC and work up to 32F temp. I switched it to propane this morning and it now reads 28.9F on the #3 setting. I have the sensor near the top wire shelf on the left front side. Were at about 67F air temp here now and the frig side is in the shade..
