Two Door Refrigerator Storage Latch
Does any one else have one of these two door refrigerator storage Latch on their LD?
This solution would be simple to make and it works well.  You just need a couple pieces of wire and a screw.

Our Dometic came with two plastics thingies that clip into the door latches, preventing the doors from fully closing.

This simple solution keeps the doors cracked open, and the latches can't close if the cord is taut. Also very secure to hold the doors while driving.

"Our Dometic came with two plastics thingies..."

Oh yes, I remember those... let's see, I think they reside with the owners manual which is securely stored in my file cabinet here in the house.

This appears to be a solution looking for a problem!   ::)

Our “Door Thingy” snapped soon after we got it. Piece of junk that was a real pain to use and keep in place.

Now when the LD sits idle, I place a couple of micro fibre towels hanging between the freezer and the fridge. Then I take a nylon tie wrap that came tied around a fleece blanket and loop it through the door handles and tie it (gently) around the kitchen faucet.

Works for me and it never gets lost.
