Surge Protector May 30, 2018, 04:25:15 pm Hi all,We are new to this lifestyle and continuing to learn about accessories. I have read about surge protectors and the need for them at RV parks. Any suggestions on a good reliable brand. Appreciate the feedback.Thomas Habgood
Re: Surge Protector Reply #1 – May 31, 2018, 01:17:07 am I suggest a hardwired model, eliminating the thief problem that the portable models suffer from.Install one of these, they have a long track record of dependable performance, plus once installed, it requires nothing from you, it's totally automatic. Re: Surge Protector Reply #2 – May 31, 2018, 06:54:09 am No RV should be without one. Most folks will need a tech with a limber body to install one in a LD.We seldom have hookups, but when we do, it's now rare that the surge protector finds a fault. Campgrounds seem to have corrected problems that were typical 10 years ago. I still would not want to be without one.
