Doorstep Lubricant March 02, 2003, 09:07:27 pm Yahoo Message Number: 19445I don't know what's recommended but I can tell you what happens when the step isn't lubricated... My step seized up at Highland Hammock State Park in Florida and would not budge in response to kicking, cursing, and making faces. It did, however, respond nicely to a couple of spritz's of WD40.Zoey is in real need of a good bath at this point, but we left FL and rushed back to home town..Lexington, KY...to deal with the damage of an ice storm (President's Day Blizzard for most of the East) and the weather hasn't gotten up to vehicle washing temperature yet.Power was out for a week here and we camped in the driveway when we got back... Put reflectix over the vents and cut a peice of insulation to fit the shower skylight, also used a heavy blanket to separate the cab from the living space. Used a lot of propane but didn't freeze!Weather in Florida wasn't wonderful and the crowds were beyond my expectation. I'm used to taking western trips in the fall...NEVER had to make reservations...just about ended up sleeping on park benches in FL....(there seemed to be ordinances about parking lots) Corkscrew Swamp is a MUST for any birdwatcher! and the Banyan tree at the Edison House in Fort Myers is the 3rd largest in the world!Bonnie from ice shredded Lexington 2001 MB
