This is a lesson I have worked diligently to avoid. The dogs are never allowed outside while I run the macerator and following SOP’s I place a heavy object on the dump end of the hose during the cleaning process.

For so many reasons, loosing control of the dump hose just isn’t something I want to experience. Shades of “Christmas Vacation” come to mind.

You’re right, you don’t!  I, um, speak from experience. 🤢 — Jon

Oh, dear...though, perhaps he won't have to spend $$ on fertilizing the back yard beyond the patio (our city treatment facility applies effluent to city-owned farmland that is rented to a local farmer).

I know I couldn't run a campground this way, & I'd never do it just along the road or on somebody else's pasture/field/etc., but I figure if 50 head of cattle can fertilize my pasture, it won't hurt anything for me to do likewise with LDy Lulubelle...but the 4-Legged Alarm is well contained during the process--though she's had her own cold water bath experiences when she's found something green to roll in when we've been out at the farm.
