Place to DIY repairs and renovations
I'm moving full-time into an RV Park this month and don't want to drive my neighbors crazy while I work on the nosier renovations/repairs.  Anyone have a recommendation on how to navigate this?  Are there places you can take your RV while you work on repairs?  Is this something neighbors are accustomed to within reason?

Many RV parks don't allow residents to work on their rigs; even doing minor services, repairs, and/or upgrades may be against the park's policies. I figure that you've verified with the park that doing renovations at your site doesn't violate their rules? If working on your rig in your site is not permitted, you might want to ask the park management where you would be able to do the renovations, e.g., a storage yard or similar.

Howard, do you have access to military bases? If so, many bases have an auto hobby shop where you can do DIY repairs. Here’s the one at our local base:

Yes, they told me that it was okay if I did some minor stuff during the day as long as it's not too loud.

I do!  Yes.  I will look into this...thank you.

Looks like Buckley has the exact same program...this might be just what I need.  Thank you!

IIRC, you're living full time in an RV park?

In places that allow long term semi-permanent stays, I often run into tradespeople who are living in the RV park and working for a few months on a large job.  Be friends.  Bring beer.  They can be a great source of advice, tools, and a helping hand.
