Best Canada Pay As You Go Phone
Hi Folks,
Just planning the end of July get away to AK.  Has anyone recently purchased a good service prepaid Canadian phone that will have satisfactory coverage in BC and Alberta?  Mainly will be used in case of emergency.

I don't personally know, but I know the best person to ask.  There is a full time RVer in Canada that has a youtube channel by the name of Linescrew1.

Canada Bell handles Verizon, no extra charges. Really good coverage along most routes.

Verizon swapped Canada Bell for Telus last month. Still good coverage, BUT, you are limited to .5GB a day. Not so bad, but you only get half that amount. We have meters, so we know how much we use. We track dead on with VZ, but Telus is screwing VZ and the VZ customers.
