Top Coat
I keep getting these commercials on Facebook for Top Coat which is supposed to make the rain run off of your windshield without using the wiper blades and keep dirt and bugs from sticking to the front of your vehicle.  Looks like great stuff, but not quite ready to send them $60 to try it.  Has anyone used it and what were your results??

Ever heard of snake oil?  Much of what's on the internet is made of it.
This product sounds similar to Rain-X.  It will cost you a little less.
Amazon.com: Rain-X 800002243 Glass Treatment- 7 fl oz.: Automotive

I'm not a huge fan of Rain-X, it has its own issues.
Instead, clean the windshield well and then use a auto clay bar on it. When it is totally clean, apply a couple layers of a high-grade polymer car wax.
Done regularly, the bugs come off easily and rain will ball up and roll off.

We've used a product called RejeX.  It's produced the folks who bring you Corrosion X (great stuff!).  It was recommended over Rain X by an RV paint and body shop that we respect.  It's about $20 for a 16 ounce bottle.

Amazon.com: CorrosionX 61002 Rejex 16oz Bottle: Sports & Outdoors

ETA - here's the Corrosion X as well if you're interested Amazon.com: Corrosion-X 90102 Anti-Corrosion and Lubricant, 16-Ounce,...

Michelle how do you like Rejex?  Does it last significantly longer than wax?
I've used Nufinish for years and find it lasts 6 months to a year depending on the sun's intensity.

We've only used in on the front to make it easier to remove bugs, seemed to work well.

My preferred "wax" for the previous coach (Foretravel) was Meguiar's NXT 2.0 Tech wax.  It's basically the same thing as their M21, but the latter is formulated for rotary buffer application vs. hand application.  We used to do 2 coats of the NXT (yes, by hand) over the course of 2 days and it would last pretty much the entire season.  Would be much easier on a LD  ;)

Glen, I posted two videos in another thread regarding cleaning the windshield so you may want to take a gander. See the first post in the thread:
