Battery question while plugged in?
Yesterday I finished installing the Victron BMV700 monitor.  As suggested here I ran the wire inside a 1/2" pvc pipe up through the fridge compartment to get into the upper cabinet.
But my question is this:  When I disconnected the batteries the coach (plugged in) still had 12vdc power to the lights, etc.  I assume the converter/charger was still putting out power.  So since my coach will be plugged in most of the time should I disconnect the batteries or leave them connected?  I'm mainly concerned with overcharging.

I leave the converter off, when parked at home, letting the solar keep the coach and starting batteries charged.
It uses less water, maintaining the batteries this way.

Let me add to my question.  I leave the air conditioner running so it will stay cool and keep the humidity lower.
Just wondering if it will hurt the converter to not be connected and charging the battery while supplying 12vdc power to the lights, etc.
