Dinner
Making risotto tonight with figs, pancetta, and pairs (the fruit not shoes or tennis players).   This is a easy stove top dish that is outside the normal stuff (especially is one uses shoes or tennis players). It takes a little time and this time of year is best done out side or when you're hooked up and have AC.   I had to use dried figs, so they are soaking in a nice Chardonnay that will be used to cook both the rice and cook. For this risotto I do not use saffron - the other flavors will overwhelm it.

Reads like a delicious classic, enjoy!

I am about to harvest a little kale to sauté in wonderful French olive oil (Puget), with some onions, red peppers and finish with a splas of white wine. This is to pair with cap steaks done mid rate.
