My turn: fridge not working!
Got to the LD this afternoon to continue a couple projects.  Fridge was not working, no lights on panel.  Check power and had 12vdc and 120vac to unit.  Checked the 2 fuses on control board and both were good.  Sat back scratching my head thinking the control board might be bad?  No yellow powder or smell thankfully so cooling unit looked good.  Looked some more and found the 12vdc + wire had come disconnected on the terminal board!  Hooked it back up and fridge fired right up.  I'll have to ditch some food but not much.  I guess vibrations loosened the wire.  I like easy fixes.

Forest, thanks for sharing this refrigerator "fix" with LDO. Some of us could take weeks trying to figure out this simple fix.
