Happy 1st Anniversary!
One year ago today instructions for migrating to the new Lazy Daze Owners' Group were posted to all LifeWithALazyDazeRV members. The transition went mostly smoothly and based on feedback, the vast majority of members have found this new platform much more complete and easier to use than the old one.

Thanks to all of you for making the move relatively easy and, of course, many thanks to our administrators, Steve and Michelle Cook, without whom the transition would have never been possible.

Happy Trails!

Reading the subject line, I thought this was for me!!  (I picked up my LD last year on May 12th).  😉  Just kidding.....

I'm glad that this forum is still around.  The transitions seems to have gone well, and while in the beginning I was a bit bummed that I wasn't getting posts via e-mail, I am now pleased that I am not.   This allows me to connect here when I have time, and not have to bother with going through e-mails that don't pertain to me.   Thanks to everyone who has kept this forum running.   I am much appreciative.

Many thanks to Steve, Michelle, Chris and Judie for their dedication to building and maintaining this site.
Most members do not realize the amount of time required to keep the site up and running smoothly.

AND LARRY!!!  Without his expertise on all things Lazy Daze . . . well, I don't know where we would be!!!  If I want to convince my husband of something, I just add "Larry says so" (or equivalent) to my argument!  Larry's word is golden!!!!

"The transition went mostly smoothly and based on feedback..."

I know that MY personal frustration level has dropped through the floor. Had it not been for the hard work of everyone involved in LDOF, Lazy Bones would not be here today!   O:)

A great anniversary to celebrate.  The community owes Chris, Michelle, Steve, Larry and the others who have made this move work.  The result is a resource that is more effective and alive.

Amen! The team pulled off a very complex transition flawlessly, and we're all the beneficiaries of their continuing efforts. Thanks, folks!

Haven't been around but a couple weeks but many thanks for this forum!  Just trying to find anything on the old Yahoo archives, or any Yahoo forum is an exercise in frustration.  And Safari doesn't play nice with Yahoo groups so have to use a different browser.  Safari works fine here on LDO.
Being a moderator of another motor coach forum I can appreciate the amount of time and effort put forth.
Thanks!

I too would like to add my thanks to all involved in the transition from Ya-Hopeless.

I'm still locked out from that Twilight  Zone. No great loss...but I certainly missed LWALD. So grateful for the concerted effort of such a wonderful group of professionals.

I know that I have come a little late to the party, but I come bearing gifts. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did picking them out.

Ditto to all sentiments posted above! Thank you, Steve, Michelle, Chris, Larry, Judie for getting this forum up and running and keeping it one of the most informative and civil on the web! No easy task, that, and so appreciated and valued!

The user interface on this forum is so much better than what yahoo was able to provide.  A big thanks to all that worked on building, then worked on sorting, and finally the transition.  I feel very lucky to have access to so many knowledgeable people - that is possible because all the work that largely goes unseen.
Thanks
