Hwy. 101 closed in northern Mendocino County
A heads up for anyone traveling (or planning to) Highway 101 in northern California:

101 Closed Until at Least Next Week; Rain Forecast to Return | News Blog

Cal Trans is not specific on detours around the slide area, but, from experience, there are no easy, fast "go around" options.

Not as scenic but there's always I-5.   ;D  ::)
