"...and I was assured it was a simple (😳) Plug-N-Play part."

Kent

I replaced my last pump with the Revolution just a few months ago! I also was under the impression that all pertinent parts were included. NOT!

Who knows, you may get lucky but I had to search around and finally found the 'elbow' I needed for my particular plumbing configuration. West Marine to the rescue!   :(

Same here. We needed an elbow which was not included in the package. If you don't need an elbow in your set up you should be OK, Kent.

"You picked up a spare, too. Right? Everything has to work in an RV, especially the water system."

Nope not yet. I figure I can get a spare cheaper online once I get home. And the tech said the only time he had to replace one of these that failed. Was do to it freezing.

We switched from a Shurflo Extreme in 2009 to the Revolution. The latter worked well up till last year when it failed and I replaced it with the spare Revolution we had. Of course, we full time and use the pump most of the time even when we have hookups.

Wow it's shocking the difference between the old 2 gpm and new 2.9 gpm. I am going to have to keep a closer eye on consumption. But I like it.
