Brooklyn Driving- for the bold and adventurous
Spotted this morning around Park Slope this morning. I have taken our LD places it should not go, but never, I say never to NYC! Now I feel like a wimp.

A truck, trailer, and toad - they are being brave (or another word might be better....).

Crazy is more like it. I've heard there are a lot of crazy people driving around in New York . . .

I suspect they've been driving continuously all night, going around the block looking for a place to park... :P

We have spent a lot of time in Park Slope, at the SIL's house, and have driven many miles throughout the City.
I can't imagine how the dual trailer rig made it through without a major incident, there just isn't the room to maneuver unless the route had been pre-planned. How did he deal with the ever present traffic? Wonder if many cops got involved?

An RV in the City?  In 1974, I drove a 21' Winnebago Brave to Manhattan, with a load of blind students, to a National Federation of the Blind convention. That was quite an introduction to NYC, the world of RVing and blind culture.
No desire to repeat driving an RV there, when we go back with the LD, we will park outside the City and use public transit.

The absolute worse traffic I have ever encountered is in Manila, Philippines. Two years ago, it took us two hours to get from the airport to outside the Metro-Manila area on our way to Baguio City. If there are any traffic laws, they certainly aren't followed and luckily a local was driving!

Here is a sample:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ek6Vxdrf5cg

Heading back there in November but will be flying into Clark Airfield, via Hong Kong, and bypassing Manila this time.  Needless to say, we won't be in a RV!  BTW, if you've never had the thrill of riding in a Jeepney or motorcycle taxi, you haven't lived (or nearly died)!

Greg that video looks like the morning commute in Seattle on a average day. Traffic has gotten so bad up here. I am so glad I retired so I don't have to put up with it.
