It's a '02 Grand Vitara 4x4, and already has the towing base plate and electrical setup for using the toad's brake/signal lights. I had to travel a little to an out of the way location but feeling lucky at this moment; the seller had inquiries from 23 different people over a 2 day period!Matt
Re: Wanted : toad Reply #3 – January 20, 2017, 06:07:26 pm Congratulations!Sounds like a good buy and gives me hope a similar deal will pop up eventually within 500mi from Sacramento given enough patience.05 to 07 Grand Vitara is 3rd option on my search list since towing capacity is borderline of my needs - about 3000lb starting in 05 Grand Vitara but prefer 3500+ to give some buffer.So searching for 00/01 Jeep Cherokee XJ or 06/07 Saturn Vue v6 in the meantime since seems to be only vehicles that fall under the 4K LD towing limit with a little buffer for cargo but can still tow at least 3500lb.Enjoy the Grand Vitara!Rich 1 Likes
