Cabin Fever - Spring Fever
It's been 5-6  weeks since we've been out in our LD.  We've puttered, piddled, cleaned and completed scheduled maintenance to help with withdrawal symptoms.  Several times in the last few weeks, we've had a bag lunch in our LD while in storage!  I'm sure there is a clinical diagnoses for this condition, but it eludes me for the moment.   BUT, we scheduling trips now and in this area of Texas, that can often require a reservation.   Some of our popular State Parks are booked for most of March 2017.   So after a long, cold, Texas winter, we hitting the road in a few more days!

During April-May, we plan to wander through eastern Oklahoma, Arkansas, and perhaps southern Missouri.  This will be our first trip without an agenda or schedule.  And when I say first, I mean first ... kind of an interesting feeling.

And so it goes.

Sounds like fun--but when are y'all coming to north Missouri?  ;D

LDy Lulubelle has spent the past six or so weeks in her nest out at the farm...though I've brought her out to see her shadow a couple of times so she can recharge her batteries, plus exercised her genn--I do think I need some suggestions on how to rig some sort of supports for her solar panels (& the appropriate angle), because the winter sun is short-lived & anemic   :P , making for a slow charge rate.  I think we're supposed to have sun & be near 60 on Saturday, so I'll go out to check on her.

You & Margee have fun & report back on your meanderings.   I've only sailed through ARK & OK on the way to somewhere else, so it will be nice to hear of new places for adventures.

Texas has hundreds of free disbursed camping places. No reservations required. Camp right on the beach? In the Hills country? Take your choice.
We have always enjoyed driving the LD along the beach, finding a nice spot, and calling it ours.

Here is one source I use frequently. It costs $4 but to us its money well spent. Avoid paying for one night in a commercial/state park and you have paid for several years of the info.
