Impressions from the Denver RV Show
I braved 5* temps and 10" of snow to visit the annual Denver RV show today. Needless to say, there wasn't much road traffic and the show attendance was light. I noticed a lot more small trailers on display, built to be towed by crossover SUVs. They are so small and cheesy. I'd go nuts after one night in that confined space. There were fewer class C & A motorhomes and a lot of toy haulers.

My favorite class A was the Tiffin Breeze. The 31' now has a full wall wardrobe across the back. Lack of clothing storage space was a problem with earlier models. It's a lovely coach, with decent fit and finish. Show price was $200,000. Such a deal! As for 5th wheels, I've always liked the Northwood (Arctic Fox) models, in particular the small 5er, the Fox Mountain 235RLS - 23.5' inside and outside (w/hitch), 27' 10". It's a nice, cozy 5th wheel with OK fit and finish, better than most of the other brands. Were I in the 5th wheel or SOB motorhome market, those would be my choices.

But I'm not in the market and will probably continue to enjoy my '02 30' IB until someone pries the keys from my hands.

You're a hardy LDO to brave those temperatures!  : ) When we started our RV search, the Northwood trailers and 5th wheels were first on our list.  The construction and attention to detail seem to be high.  Lots of owners doing serious off-road camping in all seasons.  We visited a couple of owners in this part of Texas and agree with Chris' observations.  The Northwood RV owners have a strong forum which requires current ownership to remain a member.  So after some months, we were locked out of the forum.    In the end, our trips to RV shows, visits with LD owners, and membership on this Forum lured us away.  ;)

Btw, today DW returned from a visit to Denver and according to the news more than 100 Denver flights were canceled.  So we're were lucky to get her home.
