Thanks and my wishes to all for a peaceful fun filled camping year ahead to all.  Yesterday before we went shopping dear wife and I were talking about trimming the Christmas tree.  Santa brings the tree in out house so we are a little later than some.  While we were out, our poodles thought they would help move things along and trimmed the tree for us...

Yikes!   Are you fulltiming in your Lazy Daze even as we email?  If I take photos of the snow here at 7300 feet of elevation in Santa Fe NM ....  I'll take them through the windows of our gas-furnace-heated house.

hmmmmm snow and beautiful are NOT to be used in the same sentence.  OK maybe on a post card or calendar but in person .

One of the beauties of living SoCal is that, in one hour, you can go from being up in the snow to down in the desert.
From down jackets to shorts. Or if the desert isn't your cup of tea, it doesn't take much longer to drive to the beach.
Short term exposure to snow is beautiful, long term, maybe not so beautiful. YMMV
We had just enough of it that is was still beautiful.

Now, now, Glen. :) For the skiers in our family group of 16, it has been a perfect powder day. For the rest of us, we are enjoying the gas fireplace in our rented house and looking out the window at a postcard perfect day.
