LD Spotted
We saw this unit south of Reno last week.  Very unusual mint green and Red color combo.

No, the rig in the photo is not an "Anniversary Edition", and the "mint green" tint of the white paint was an aberration that occurred during one model year, IIRC. Can't recall the year, but from the Ford grill, it looks to be late 90s?

I remember seeing a green rig with the "mint tint" white at the LD 50th; it got plenty of looks!   :D

Pretty sure that was a 1997 phenomenon.  Two of them here an Jojoba Hills.

'Christmas Edition' - Haha, very funny.
We understand the mint green comes from an incomplete clean out of the paint spray equipment between the green paint and the white paint.  The are others out there with mint green.
We did see another one today, faded red with California plates, when we were in Fort DeSoto state park (florida).  She is a beauty for her age, built on a Chevy.
I'm not sure the site is going to let me upload a properly sized photo - I get an error code, but am going to post msg anyway.  We'll see what happens!

So sounds like the paint department's QA was taking some time off during that period. Surprising they wouldn't fix their mistake before releasing the product!

it was 1998..I can always tell that year from the "minty" white..and in contrast to my red/Burgundy, it really does look green! Kind of like it's unique-ness...grin

That way you can tell your Lazy Daze from all the other Lazy Daze out there on the highways and in the campgrounds.  ;-)
Actually there is one in the North East Lazy Daze group too.   I thought he had it repainted and comment on how I liked the subtle difference.
