Indeed...along with that is an Internet connection and all that entails...as difficult as that can be at times.

Enjoy the feast then take a nap.

"We have much to be thankful for to include the LDO Forum."

Indeed! In particular, I want to offer thanks to our moderators, led by Chris Horst. I'm all too aware of the amount of behind-the-scenes housekeeping needed to keep a large discussion group like this running smoothly. Of course, the new forum framework--made possible by Steve and Michelle--makes this less painful than it was under Yahoo, but it's still a lot of work, most of which is not ordinarily seen by members.

And I'm even more aware of the difficulty of balancing tact against firmness in order to keep the discourse helpful and neighborly. Chris has done an outstanding job of finding that balance, and the friendly tone of this forum owes much to his gently guiding hand.

We are all very fortunate to have such a dedicated group of people, and I'm grateful for their hard work--especially because I know from experience how much work it is! :-)

Ditto! Just returned from visiting my Mom in NoCal so hoping you all had a good one, as we did!

Big snow storm coming in tomorrow evening so we are hunkering down and making preps. Gotta get the fireplace ready to make a nice wood fire while I drink some COFFEE!  ;)
