National Monuments November 23, 2016, 02:57:14 pm Bill, the photos are gorgeous and highlight accomplishments in the last years of preserving our nation's wilderness areas. The article could be construed as somewhat political before it gets on to the national monument part, so I would encourage folks who want to read about this topic to go directly to Russell McLendon's website on their own and search for the topic of National Monuments. I realize you meant no political intent. I have to keep the keel even.Chris 1 Likes

Re: National Monuments Reply #2 – November 23, 2016, 04:00:26 pm Understood Chris. I went back and forth a couple of days about it because of the way it's presented before posting, but thought it would be of interest.
Re: National Monuments Reply #3 – November 23, 2016, 06:07:39 pm Bill was our member who posted a link to an article about national monuments. I felt it was a tad politically tainted and am suggesting if anyone wants to see the lovely photos of certain national monuments, go directly to Russell McLendon's website (Mother Nature Network) on your own and scroll down to the topic of National Monuments.Chris
