I had to join the forum in order to see the photo posted: "OCCC 1,062 lbs." The label states that a full tank of water weighs 299 lbs., but doesn’t mention propane. I would assume the OCCC number was calculated & the labels printed before any optional equipment (generator, solar panels, etc.) were added.Here's what's on the 2017 Lazy Daze “Pricing & Specs” PDF:"O.C.C.C. – (Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity). Allowable weight available for occupants, fresh water, food, personal items, supplies etc. NOTE: Installed accessories and towed vehicle tongue weight will reduce O.C.C.C."The two 24’ models (TK & FD) have O.C.C.C. of 3,199 and 3,170 lbs.

Re: Ford Transit Reply #28 – September 21, 2016, 04:53:28 pm Art, if that's a Showhauler, then someone on YouTube recently talked about a custom build without any slides and with a 4x4 conversion. It would probably weigh in at around 30k lbs., which is considerably lighter than their average build. What's interesting is they also use a single sheet of aluminum for the roof. The exterior panels are also aluminum, but it sounds like they layer the panels vertically. They would do well to imitate LD's "Unitized cab to cab-over" design.

This isn't a cozy camping vehicle like the LD where it feels great to sit inside looking out on a cold morning while having a cup of coffee.No, this is like most things made today that have a lot of show but not much blow. The RV market is notorious for the 2 year "excitement" window before the rig is stored and forgotten. That's why they need all the bells and whistles to catch a buyers eye and get a signed sales contract.Compare that to LD which is literally almost the perfect RV ... except for cough ... leaks. Even with that in mind it's why buyers will wait a year. Engineers building for engineers.I agree that LD will up size before they downsize. Every time I see a Dolphin, I'm impressed by the large windows and simple functionality.Someone somewhere will use the Transit chassis to build this type of RV.

But he is a good front man for the company. I saw a video of him giving a factory tour that was also quite interesting.
