Thirty Years Old And Doing Fine
Spoke with the third owner of a 1986 red rear lounge MB a few minutes ago. Came upon it around the corner from work in Los Alamitos Ca.

The current owner said the LD was running perfectly as are all the appliances.

The Escapees number on the back was 1946. So if this was one of our groups babies, just know that it is doing well and in caring hands.

1946 sounds suspiciously like a So Cal Caravan Club number!  -- Jon
(Former) ‘06 TK “Albatross.” And (former) Vespa 250.   Alas, no more; both are gone.😕 Great memories remain! 😄

The current owner wasn't sure about the origin of the numbers. They were there when she got the coach.

She was very proud of her LD. Aren't we all?
