Question "wannabees" always ask.
Q:  So, nice RV you got there. How many miles per gallon do you get with that thing?

A:  Between 8-9 mpg depending on conditions. How many miles per gallon do you get on your house?

(I saw this in a GS post and roared with laughter.)

Gas station questions and remarks.
When our LD was new, the unsolicited remarks, at services stations, was "it sure looks good for such an old RV'.
I often get asked "how old it it?"
The response is almost always the same, "it sure looks good for such an old RV".

We were with 30 or so LD's at Lake Of the Ozarks a few years back. A woman jogged past us each morning with her eyes fixed on us and the other close by rigs. Towards the end of the week, she saw me outside and asked how we all got our old rigs looking so good.

Those Imax windows allow us to look back at folks passing by with their heads on swivels.

Yeah, we almost feel sorry for those in SOB's.
