first real trip of the year.
This year instead of camping over the winter I worked with a doc to clean up a number of skin issues.  That mostly done, I am very excited to go on our annual camping trip with friends.  This group has been camping together in one form or another dating back to the mid 1970's.   Some are bringing grandchildren.  Each family is responsible for one meal or part of a meal.  For the Memorial Weekend trip we usually visit a friends farm Friday through Sunday.  Gina and I usually make the Saturday dinner meat dish.  I have done pork loin for 24-30 in the LD oven, to be browned on the grill before serving.  Now we cook the meat at home, and just brown the meat on the grill.  That many pork loins almost overload the oven.
The spot is on a side of a hill not to far from the Shenandoah NP. I use four sets of blocks to level, and sometimes that doesn't work.  We now load the freezer with ice packs just in case we are to far out of level to run the fridge off gas.

I hope everyone has a good weekend.  Thanks Uncle Leon.
