Oregon Ford Service Referral
My "Second Wind" has enjoyed 150,000 miles of adventures and is due for a major spa treatment.  I'll be buying tires and traveling in Oregon this summer and would like some recommendations for a reliable, trustworthy Ford service center somewhere between Eugene and Portland.  This will be a major service, and I'd like to stick with a motorhome-friendly Ford service center.

Thanks for your help!

We used Northside in Portland just for an oil change. No where close to your desired location, but we used Butler Ford in Ashland. They welcome RV's and changed our spark plugs in two hours. That is supposed be a tough job.

Years ago, there was a Ford dealership in Cottage Grove, about 15 miles south of Eugene, that maintained motor homes.  They did a good job, I thought.  Then, the place was bought by Chrysler Jeep.  I found that they kept the large vehicle service and they continue to service Ford RV's.  I have mine serviced there every spring.  Their phone is 541-942-5551.  If you go there, talk with Shawn Teague if you can, and tell him I said hi.

They are on Row River Road, on the left perhaps half a mile east of I-5.

Thanksabunch Ken.  Looks like a good location - I'll give them a call.

Don, Ashland is a little too far south on my itinerary.  Thanks anyway.

Since moving to Scappoose I have used Northside Ford Trucks at 6221 NE Columbia Blvd, Portland 97218 800-622-6670.  They were recommended on this forum and I have not been disappointed.

Back in the mid-00's, when we were in Eugene, Oregon for eight months, we had our roof re-sealed (40-foot DP, not Lazy Daze) and other work done at The RV Corral.  In looking up the URL just now, I see they seem to be a dealership, so perhaps they have shifted focus.  But if they are still doing repair work, I can say that we were totally happy with their work and fee schedule.  It was a multi-day process, and they kept our rig inside during the entire process.  During the day we lived in our Sportsmobile camper in their parking lot or went sightseeing, and at closing time, we were able to move back into the coach, for dinner and a good night's sleep, until the next morning.  They didn't toss us out at dawn, either!

That said, I have a predilection for navigating in small towns, thus would more likely investigate Cottage Grove's offerings, especially with such a good recommendation from Ken, particularly since you are seeking only service, not renovations or major engine work.
