Mark,

That's a shame. I'm sure many of us hoped things would work out for you. Don't give up the hunt, there's a LD out there just waiting for you.

Your willingness to dig into the mire of repairing an older rig is commendable. This is something that some of us resist as much as possible.

Some people are just better at maintenance than others. Cheer up. Someone has worked really hard keeping their LD in top shape just for you. Now all you need is a little more time to find it.

Good luck to you.

Kent

It was a little disheartening to see how poorly the Lazy Daze was maintained but as some have said, their are plenty of them out their. The thing I liked about it was the fact that it was a project and I could have gotten it for a good price and brought it back and knew what I had. But also ironic that I get back and have a email waiting, in response to a WTB Lazy Daze that I had posted in the area Craigs List. Guy is pulling it out of inside storage this coming week. Looked 3 years for one and found this on near Reno and flew down after talking w/the owner for a week, and brought it back. It was kept in it's own spot in the garage and the pic I have posted is the one he took when he picked it up. It had the couch/(2) barrel chairs when he picked it up, he went to a furniture maker and had another couch made to mimic the one in the back, so now he has a king in the back.109,000, ford 460 and I may go and look at it next week.

Mark, any coach over 20 years old is likely to have problems, it just a matter of degree. The next one sounds hopeful. a 460 means it's what, pre '92? Ours is a MB with couch and barrel chairs. We removed the built in cabinet (not a simple job), and were going to convert to twins/king, but I have found I like the barrel chair, so I built a little TV cabinet on the back of the shower wall, giving me more room on that side.

Keep up the search, the right combination of projects and skill set will align, and you'll have a ball, as I am.

Paul, the 460ci seems to have been used in the 26'threw 1996. Was garaged by the previous owner and the present owner takes it out of inside storage next week. And I expect some issues. Mark
