Factory Tours March 23, 2016, 01:49:30 pm Yahoo Message Number: 159530Hi Folks,Our experiences at the Mothership seem to vary quite a bit. I do agree though, that while our expectations often run high when we visit the factory we sometimes leave wishing we could have seen more.We all must realize that there is a certain amount of liability when a company allows customers to "step across the yellow line".When we picked up our '15 rig last October, there was no issue about us taking a peek as we walked about to get our new arrival. When I did ask to check things out while our unit was under construction, I was politely told, " there really isn't a lot going on right now". I was good with that.Lazy Daze is very aware of our enthusiasm and they respect us for it. That being said, a factory tour could present some difficulties and liabilities to them as a manufacturer.Couple those issues with the "leaked" photo's of rigs under construction and one can understand their reluctance to willingly accept our gleeful requests for a tour. You wouldn't expect a behind the scenes tour of you local Denny's after all.We all love our LD's and would be thrilled to get down and dirty with the operations and while "tours" may have been possible in the past, the best we can hope for now is a sneak peek as we walk along the hallowed halls of the Mothership on our way to our rigs. And I bet they would still love to sell you a new LD.Prepping for Yosemite,KentSent from AOL Mobile MailSent from AOL Mobile Mail

They also allow customers who are there for some work on the RV's to roam around wherever they want and talk to any worker they feel like chatting with. VERY customer friendly. FYI, Gale
