The toggle switch under the hood, 1995 22.5 tk chevy which is next to the washer bottle.   I'm understanding this is for letting the current from the vehicle battery go to the     coach???    just seem like awful small wire for this chore??   maybe it runs to a swiching  mechanism? Thanks for the help Grumpy

I have never seen a Factory installed toggle switch under a LD's hood.
All LDs older than 2008, AFAIK, used a diode-type isolators and never a relay combiner.
The switch most likely was added by a previous owner, possibly to bridge a damaged isolator diode.
 You will need track down the switche's wires to discover its function.
