Battery suggestions

My 2 Interstate house batteries are getting older and I'd like to replace them before Alaska next year.

Any suggestions? Brand? Model? Type?

For over 4 years now I have used 2 Trojan T-145's with good results. These have a little more capacity then the stock T-105's my LD came with. They are the largest Trojan's that can fit in the stock battery compartment. Purchasing the Pro-Fill device makes it very easy to keep the water topped off. If you decide to pursue these batteries shop around as prices vary widely.

You might want to check out this Trojan battery link to 6V flooded cell T-series batteries:

The specs for each battery choice, i.e., T-105, T-125. and T-145, regular and "plus", are linked from the battery's description. Trojan has its own version of the "Profill" watering system; this is definitely worth having for convenient cell checking and filling.
