Advice on Corrosion Conrol _ White Paint Bubbling in several spots

I have been following this forum since before we got our LD over 5 years ago - Reading the posts here persuaded me to look for a used LD, which I fortunately found in Jacksonville, NC in 2009 when we purchased our 26 ft 99 IB which we are enjoying very much. We have made good use of it to date - over 3  months of cross country winter rambling from our Virginia home base each of the past two years and dozens of local area (VA, TN, NC) trips. LD was purchased used 5 years ago and has met or exceeded expectations for functionality /reliability.
First problem that I have now requires attention:  - I have three major spots on the white surfaces (RV is green and white) with corrosion which is now progressed far enough that I need to deal with it...the paint bumps and bubbles in two of the areas are now starting to burst and leave small (1/8 to 1/2 inch diameter) exposed metal spots.
I took it to a trusted body shop today and was told that since it is strictly a cosmetic issue and the long term  destructive potential is preventable / controllable by spot touch up to keep the metal covered as needed. This assessment makes me question the wisdom and "return on investment".  But I would like to keep it looking good and have not ruled it out (there is also a poorly completed (cosmetically speaking) repair on the rear corner which I would roll into the job if I go with the body shop fix).
So my options appear to be: (1) DIY - Incremental treatment of the areas by spot painting.
(2) DIY - More extensive sanding and priming of the areas of concern and match the white paint as beast possible (3) Body Shop fix (Ball park estimate is $1500 - 2700). the higher figure takes care of the poorly done rear corner repair.. requires taking the entire passenger side upper  angle molding - off, cleaning, resealing correctly and painting.
I will post photos of the worst areas on the white strip in the rear and the repair correction asap.
I  Would very much appreciate some advice from the members who have dealt with this issue successfully.
Will post photos asap.
Thanks in advance.

A photo of one of the worst areas of blistering is posted _ not sure how to capture a link to the photo.. I posted this conversation name 156903Advice on Corrosion Conrol _ White Paint Bubbling in several spots  as a comment on the photo. Will post a couple more tomorrow when I can get a  shot in good light.

This looks like electrolysis, caused by water leaks. This is not a cosmetic issue, but a potentially serious structural problem. Until you fix the leaks and get rid of the moisture that is causing the aluminum to corrode, the problem will continue and worsen.

Thanks If that is the case How do I even start to investigate and verify??  I have been worrying that might be the case..(electrolysis) -but  I am not sure where to start to find the leaks if there are any.. The roof seams are sealed with eternabond strips (removed and resealed 5 years ago ... the worst spot (pictured does not have any easily detectable paths from windows or other potential seam openings ..
Also Is there any relevance to the corrosion blistering being exclusively on the white paint??

I just Googled "how to repair paint electrolysis on rv paint" and saw a handful of topics/threads specific to RVs. You might want to review that data.

I would pull the window       above the area. You can find out how to do that from the LazyDaze       Companion.
