Extend A Stay Valve Information
Yahoo Message Number: 156093
Hi everyone, We just purchased an extend a stay kit for an external propane tank if needed for our 2000 RB from an online nationwide RV parts dealer.
We just received and the only thing I was concerned about was that the propane hose is only 5 feet. I looked up the manufacturer and it is MB Sturgis out of St. Louis.
I called and talked to the sales dept. and they sell and ship direct so you can order any length hose you need with the valve so you don't need to purchase a separate hose (as I did) and avoid the middleman.
Just thought I would pass along the information for anyone interested.

When you disconnect the extend-a-stay from the input to the regulator make sure to coil it up and secure well.
They don't last long when the hose falls out and rubs on the ground. I am not the only one that has done this, I have talked with several that have done it. I wonder if someone makes a recoil device that propane hose can coil in to protect it when not in use.

If your a Passport America member this place is a bargain. Just fill your water tank before you go.
The hot springs are very soothing, especially after a 2 hr. wait at the DMV.
