Rallies in Pacific NW or ?

I'm new. Bought an '01 26RK this spring.

Do the LD folks ever group up? I'd love to go to an outing with other LD folks so I can accelerate my learning curve.

I usually head south in the winter (to get out of the rain) and would be interested in get togethers in Arizona, SoCal, etc. in DEC - MAR time frame.

Hello all!

I just purchased a 1989 ~22' Lazy Daze over the weekend on a Chevy G30 chassis. My wife and I are thrilled with this RV- the quality of the construction is evident as everything looks new and is very solid!

The vehicle drives wonderfully- I drove it from Colorado Springs where I purchased it to Durango, CO, so I got to see how it does with good mountain driving on La Veta and the infamous Wolf Creek Pass- it did surprisingly well on both and got about 10 MPG on the way home- which I will definitely take for mountain driving!

I have a few issues I am trying to track down.

1. The pump on the swamp cooler does not come on. Water fills the reservoir up there, but nothing with the pump. What should I check? Can I get a replacement pump?

2. The 12V for the fridge is not working. 120 and propane work great. infinite resistance between positive and negative terminals when tested with the lines to battery disconnected. With power, I get 12v going into the heating element, but no heat. Replace the element?

3. One vent needs replacement. What manufacturer? Does it matter or are the vents universal?

4. Water pump does not shut off. No evidence of leaks- I checked every connection and tightened a few. No drops from underneath, wet carpet, or other obvious problems. Good water pressure. Can I adjust the shut off switch?
