Need flat-screen TV mounting plate for 2004 RB

Our 2004 RB was broken into and the tv was stolen.  I wish they had just taken the tv, but rather than removing the tv from the mounting plate, they removed the mounting plate from the arm and stole the whole assembly.  Now I have the extending arm with vertical mounting holes at the end of the arm, but no mounting plate.
LD informs me that the flat-screen tv mounts are custom made for LD, and they no longer use the type on the 2004 for the current models.  I believe 2004 was the first year LD installed flat screens (Sharp 15" in our case).
The tv stolen was a Samsung 21" that I had purchased and installed as an upgrade to the original Sharp and fit beautifully with the original mount plus a VESA adapter plate required for the VESA-compliant Samsung.
Any ideas on how to solve the problem?  I am loathe to replace the entire mounting arm assembly, so hope there is a way to work with the existing hardware.

Thanks--Ted

I'm somewhat "mechanically challenged," but maybe you could find what you need in this link from Amazon.

The best solution would seem to take a VESA plate and mount two ears on it to fit the vertical holes in the arm. These ears could be mounted by screws or welding.

The original plate was thick steel with two thick ears welded to it. That could be duplicated at a welding shop with a drawing.

Much easier to replace the stolen plate than replace the arm as the original is extremely strong and durable.
Nothing new will match it. Just an opinion.

I used this and I did drill a new hole a little below where the holes in the wall were already. I wanted to lower the screen a bit for less neck pain while viewing. The product was dead easy to put together.

It's at Amazon and was only $19.99 and Iove that the screen connection is separate from the wall connection. This makes it easy to put up the wall mount and then attach the TV.

Harry--
Your take is exactly mine.  You get it!  If you could  take photos of yours at different angles, I could give them to a welding  shop, and that would be a huge help.  Please PM me:  traphael a*t rapgroup do*t co*m (delete the *s).
You understand my problem and how I hope to fix it.  Your help here is greatly appreciated.  With no help from LD on parts, I am really stuck.  If only there were an LD graveyard for scavengers.

Thanks--Ted

Thank you for your response.  I do not see a locking mechanism to secure the mount and tv while the coach is in motion.  How is that accomplished?  Thanks--Ted

Ted, I have an o7MB.  The arm is not secured.  I use a bungie cord or just leave it.  That said it does not move very much.

You could use this but I think it's overpriced: Choice TV Mounts - Lucasey TV Mounting Systems

My LD came with a wood shelf installed for TV. I had my Jensen flat screen TV mounted using wood screws and washers thru the stand into the shelf. You cannot rotate it that way but it doesn't cause me a problem.
