Don't know what it costs, but I'm doubting you could do serious work with this gadget. Hard to tell much without hands-on, but I saw obvious deflection used as a drill press, which would make it nearly useless for that, much worse than with even a cheap bench model. You could probably do a better job freehand...

And it would appear, only one battery?

"Just saw this, and I have to say, it's a pretty amazing tool."

Hi Victor

Some engineer had a lot of time of his or her hands.
If Ryobi or some other Japanese manufacturer had come up with this, it might be a good tool but is sure looks flimsy with way too many fragile parts to break or lose. A wonderful idea that would cost a fortune if built with quality parts.
It reminds me of a super compact Shopsmith, the all-purpose shop tool of yesterday.

For those  who carry power tools, the Ryobi +ONE system might be a useful, it uses the same battery and charger for a wide range of tools. Decent tools at reasonable prices and you pick only the tools you need.

I second the vote for Ryobi "One System" tools. I have a portable vacuum, drill, and impact gun that all run on the same battery. The 3 tools plus charger and 2 batteries fit in a compact case. They really help in the RV and take up very little room. I think the whole setup was around $100 on Ebay.
